About B11 and B11 Standards
B11 Standards, Inc., located at 7114 Rancho Mirage in Houston, TX, is one of approximately 230 ANSI-accredited Standards Developing Organizations (SDOs) in the United States. The organization brings together representatives from a broad range of stakeholder groups with a shared goal: preventing injuries related to machinery through the development of comprehensive safety standards. These standards address the design, construction, maintenance, and operation of industrial and commercial machinery.
The scope of B11 Standards, Inc.’s work includes the definition of key safety concepts, principles, and requirements, the development of common terminology, and the creation of methodologies for risk assessment and reduction.
