Calculate Risk for your Compliance Obligations

Nimonik allows you to assign a risk value to the documents in your compliance obligation using the risk matrix. To do so, simply follow the steps below.

Create your Risk Matrix on the Settings Page. (Account Administrators Only)

Go to the settings page and click on Risk Matrix Settings

On the resulting page, click the create button to create your risk matrix

Once your risk matrix has been created, you can click on any cell to change its value. You can also add definition to the title cells, which appear along the top and left edges.

You can also change the colour of any number cell using the drop-downs at the top of the page. 

Add Risk Assessment to Compliance Obligations

To enable risk assessment in your compliance obligations, go to the edit page, and check the Include in CO checkbox next to “Risk Column”.

This will add a column called Risk to your compliance obligations. 

To calculate the risk for a document, click on the text that appears in the risk column. In the resulting modal, select the appropriate likelihood and consequence values.

Once you click save, the appropriate risk value and colour will be added to the risk column. 

If you need to change the risk value of a document, you can do so at any time by clicking on the current value, and selecting the appropriate likelihood and consequence.
