How to Upload an Internal Document to Library and How to Add Internal Documents to a CO Register

Along with the thousands of external documents available in your account, Nimonik allows you to upload internal documents to the library. These internal documents will be unique to your account, but can be added to Compliance Obligations Registers like any external document.

Step 1 – Upload Internal Document to Nimonik Library

  • Go to the Library Page here or from the CO Register page, click the “Add Document” button

  • Once on the Library Page, click the “Upload Documents button” on the right side of the screen

  • Complete the form on the resulting page as follows:
    • Title – The title of the document in your library and compliance obligations. 
    • File – A copy of the document that will be accessible from the Document Page.
      • Please note, this must be a file and not a link, if the document is only available on a webpage, you can print the page as a PDF to create one.
    • Description – If you would like a description of the document to appear on its document page, please enter it here. 
    • Document Expires – If the document expires, check this box and enter the expiry date in the field below. On the date that you entered, the status of the document will be changed from “In Force” to “Archived”. 
    • Parsing – If you would like the document to be available as a CLCO, check this box.
      • Please note that not all documents can be parsed and that having a document parsed will incur some fees. Your account manager will reach out to make sure that everything goes smoothly. 

  • Once you click Save, your document will be sent for processing and should appear in the library a few minutes later. 

  • If you requested parsing, you will be contacted by Nimonik’s Customer Success Team to confirm the cost and proceed with the payment. For most circumstances, documents will be parsed and available at the clause level within 14 days of the request. 

 

Step 2 – Add Internal Document to CO Register

  • After clicking save, you will be brought back to the Nimonik Library Page
  • To find the uploaded Internal Document, click the “Clear Filters” button

  • Once the filters are cleared, filter for “Internal Document” using the “Document Types” filter. then click “Generate Results”

  • This will display all Internal Documents uploaded to your account
  • Using the checkboxes on the right, select which documents you would like to add to your CO Register, then click “Track in Register”

  • On the subsequent page, decide which CO Register(s) you would like to add your Internal Document(s) to. Click save to add them to your Register(s)

  • If you originally navigated to the Library Page from the CO Register page (by clicking the “Add Document” button), you can add Internal Document(s) to your CO Register in one step by clicking the “Add to CO” button.
