Canada – British Columbia

Amended document – Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Requirements Regulation
Amending document – Renewable and Low Carbon Fuel Requirements Regulation 2020-07-14 Amendments

First effective date – 2020-07-13
Industry – oil and gas

A change to this document has been announced. The effect of the changes is notably to (1) amend the maximum volume of part 2 fuels a part 2 and part 3 fuel supplier can supply during a specific compliance period to be able to benefit from the exemption from renewable fuel content requirements; and (2) amend the carbon intensity limits for diesel and gasoline class fuel for a specific compliance period. Canada – Quebec

New Principal document – Ordering of measures to protect the health of the population amid the COVID-19 pandemic situation

First effective date – 2020-07-18

This order prohibits operators of public places to allow a person not wearing a face covering to enter the place or to tolerate their presence in the place.

Amended document – Regulation respecting animals in captivity
Amending document – Regulation to amend the Regulation respecting animals in captivity

First effective date – 2020-07-22
Industry – general

A change to this document has been announced. The effect of the change is to (1) readjust the timeline to comply with requirements respecting keeping facilities, pools of water, and keeping facilities for high-risk mammals, wild boars and large or venomous reptiles; and (2) readjust the timeline to register a high-risk mammal, a large cervid or a wild boar kept in captivity that was acquired before September 6, 2018. Amending Document – Revising the Beryllium Standard for General Industry

A change to a number of provisions in the general industry beryllium standard has been announced. The change includes modifications to five existing definitions, and revisions to (1) methods of compliance, (2) personal protective clothing and equipment, (3) hygiene areas and practices, (4) housekeeping, (5) medical surveillance, (6) communication of hazards, and (7) record keeping. United States – Indiana

Amended Document – IAC Article 312-9 Fish And Wildlife

First effective date – 2020-09-01

Amended Document – PC Chapter 25-123 Standards for Contaminants
Amending Document – Revision of the Maximum Allowable Sulfur Content Limit for No. 2 and Lighter Commercial Fuel Oil

A change to the standards for contaminants has been announced. The effect of the change is notably to reduce the maximum allowable sulfur content limit for certain types of commercial fuel oil generally sold for and used in residential and commercial furnaces and oil heat burners for home or space heating, water heating, or both.
