By ,

Nimonik|China RoHS(Measures for the Administration of the Restricted Use of the Hazardous Substances Contained in Electrical and Electronic Products(MIIT Order No.32)) announced two-steps administration method. The 1st step is self- declaration, which had been implemented and known by manufacturers for many years. The 2nd step is conformity assessment, which is a key step of the administration of the restricted use of the hazardous substances contained in electrical and electronic products.

According to MIIT Order No.32, the restricted use of the hazardous substances contained in electrical and electronic products shall be subject to the catalogue administration mode. The electrical and electronic products incorporated into the conformity administration catalogue shall comply with the national or industry standards for the restricted use and quantity limitation requirements for the hazardous substances contained in electrical and electronic products, and conduct administration according to the conformity assessment standards for the restricted use of the hazardous substances contained in electrical and electronic products.
