Disappointment at Copengahen?

Observers of climate change talks have been skeptical for some time about whether it is really feasible to expect that the nations of the world meeting in Copenhagen in December will reach agreement in time on extending the Kyoto Protocol after 2012. François Cardinal at La Presse is reporting today that Federal Environment Minister Jim Prentice has his doubts. Discussions are moving so slowly, he says, that an agreement is unlikely before 2010 or 2001. The best we can hope for in December is a partial agreement.
